It’s too bad they are using a huge national company like earthlink instead of a local company. I don’t know how many local wifi providers there are (I know there’s at least one in DC), but hope they got to submit proposals before arlington chose the walmart of internet providers.

Also, they should really specify the list of nonprofits that will get free access beforehand. I can see earthlink deciding upon, say, 2 nonprofits that get it while there should be hundreds.
