A representative for TIMES UP! tells us that the cyclist in this video was arrested, held for 26 hours, and charged with attempted assault and resisting arrest.

craziness! just last week a very good friend of mine was hit on his bike in Northeast DC and ended up in the emergency room. the police never took a statement from him because of his injuries but ended up giving him the ticket regardless.

Amit, if he feels like the ticket was undeserved (which I imagine it probably was) tell him to get in contact with WABA. They won’t play lawyer for him, but they can help him figure out how to cut the bullshit.
