Yesterday on my ride I saw my first Yes on 8 signs. I kind of wanted to flip off the houses as we passed, but I was afraid to because I think the sort of person who’d put a hateful sign like that in their yard is the same sort of person who’d run a baby in a bike trailer off the road with a giant pickup truck.

in my opinion if you are really religious and believe in marriage as a blessed relationship with God then why would you want the govt involved in regulating it? the incentives the govt created for being married (outside of taxes for DINKs) have created this problem. for me, marriage is between me, my love, and my family/friends. anyway, this topic really annoys me so thanks for bringing it up MB!

This is not about religion, nor even gar rights. This is about wife-beaters being upset than a nearby marriage of true equality might give their beaten wife the notion that she deserves better.
Let’s face it, the marriage of in-equality is the only marriage threatened by gar marriage.
