Jim Webb Disappoints. Again.
This time, Webb is hedging on the capacity of the American justice system to handle terrorists. It’s interesting. He’s wrong as wrong can be, but I believe it’s genuine. That is, he’s genuinely wrong, and not wrong because of political considerations.

James Young says:
You’re right. It’s certainly disappointing — to a partisan Republican — when Jim Webb uncharacteristically manages to get something right.

MB says:
That would be funnier, James, if I thought you had the first clue about justice.

James Young says:
You wouldn’t know justice if it kicked you in the teeth, Mark. Apparently, you can’t even tell the difference between crime and war.
‘Course, that’s unsurprising, since you apparently don’t know what “marriage” means, either.

MB says:
I suppose it does say something about your concept of justice that it goes around kicking people in the teeth. But really, here’s the best part, James: you’re on the losing end, here. Equality is coming, no matter how much small-minded hateful little bigots like you go around throwing fits. Am I annoyed that folks like you are delaying that coming? Sure I am. But in the end, equality wins. The best you can hope for is to drag out the fight and inflict as much collateral damage as you can along the way. Small victories for small men, I suppose.
