It would raise the number of members in the House of Representatives from 435 to 437.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The bill received wide bipartisan support in committee, and represents <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/04\/19\/AR2007041900871.html?hpid=topnews?hpid=topnews\">a real chance<\/a> at ending the shameful situation forced upon DC residents.   This bill is real and and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcvote.org\/advocacy\/dcvralegal.cfm\">it&#8217;s constitutional<\/a>.
