But lord, is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/06\/05\/business\/media\/05decency.html?_r=2&amp;ref=business&amp;oref=slogin&amp;oref=slogin\">this funny<\/a>.  In rejecting the FCC&#8217;s new enthusiasm for fining TV stations for broadcasting even a brief and unplanned use of an expletive, the Court of Appeals:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Adopt[ed] an argument made by lawyers for NBC, [and] cited examples in which Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney had used the same language that would be penalized under the policy. Mr. Bush was caught on videotape last July using a common vulgarity that the commission finds objectionable in a conversation with Prime Minister <a href=\"http:\/\/topics.nytimes.com\/top\/reference\/timestopics\/people\/b\/tony_blair\/index.html?inline=nyt-per\" title=\"More articles about Tony Blair.\">Tony Blair<\/a> of Britain. Three years ago, Mr. Cheney was widely reported to have muttered an angry obscene version of  \u00e2\u20ac\u0153get lost\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to <a href=\"http:\/\/topics.nytimes.com\/top\/reference\/timestopics\/people\/l\/patrick_j_leahy\/index.html?inline=nyt-per\" title=\"More articles about Patrick J.
