They choose locations based on the latest crime trends &#8212; focusing, for example, on areas in Southeast Washington beset by gun violence.<\/p>\n<p>[ . . . ]<\/p>\n<p>The District&#8217;s cameras have quite a range, officials said. Officers can rotate angles for different views.
