McCain, who has publicly and repeatedly claimed to oppose waterboarding as torture &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com\/2008\/02\/senate_passes_bill_with_ban_on.php\">yesterday voted against the bill banning waterboarding<\/a>.  Musn&#8217;t be on the wrong side of George Bush, it seems, even when that makes you pro-torture.  Straight-talkin&#8217; maverick, indeed.
