{"id":972,"date":"2008-06-26T10:05:52","date_gmt":"2008-06-26T14:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blacknell.net\/dynamic\/?p=972"},"modified":"2008-06-26T10:05:52","modified_gmt":"2008-06-26T14:05:52","slug":"scotusblog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blacknell.net\/dynamic\/2008\/06\/26\/scotusblog\/","title":{"rendered":"Scotusblog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve got to admit &#8211; it&#8217;s been a while since I&#8217;ve followed Supreme Court cases for the sake of themselves.\u00c2\u00a0 For the most part, my interest with the Supreme Court has been limited to FCC-related issues (and the occasional 4th Amendment case).\u00c2\u00a0 So I&#8217;ve not been on the law blogs for years.\u00c2\u00a0 But this <em>DC v. Heller <\/em>case has interested me for a while, and I&#8217;ve been edging back into the law blogs (believe me, this will not turn into one).\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m *really* impressed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scotusblog.com\/wp\/\">Scotusblog<\/a>, which seems to be a joint project between the lawyers at Akin Gump and Howe &amp; Russell.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s easy to read, well laid out, and everything you want to know is right there.\u00c2\u00a0 I know it&#8217;s a bit of a late recommendation, given that this is the last day of the term, but if you ever get interested in a case pending before the Supreme Court, go to Scotusblog.<\/p>\n<p>(I&#8217;m following the &#8220;live blog&#8221; there right now, and they&#8217;ve got a little survey going on, asking who the viewership is, in real time.\u00c2\u00a0 95% are there because of Heller.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 (Oh, look. Davis v.
