I Want to Believe: Flat Earthers
This BBC story on the Flat Earth Society brought to mind the Virginia blogosphere - so many people who hold ridiclous beliefs with apparent sincerity. If they’re sincere, well, I can’t help but pity them. But if they’re just being intentionally obtuse . . . I sort of want to kick them out of the public conversation entirely.

Your comment (”I sort of want to kick them out of the public conversation entirely.”) at first reminded me of a line from the bathroom scene in Jim Carrey’s “Liar, Liar” — “I’m kicking my own a**.” But for the incredible far-Left sanctimony displayed here on a regular basis, it would have been an incredible display of self-awareness. That you have such a desire is, nevertheless, demonstrative of the far Left’s continuing slide into totalitarianism.
