Key to Electoral Success: A Series

It strikes me that I should have started a series with this post – Key to Electoral Success: Hide Being Smart and Like Giving Black Eyes – back in May.  There’s been a resurgence, this cycle, of tortured attempts by Democrats elevate the violent hillbilly model of social interaction into an acceptable political strategy.  Here’s the latest entry in that contest.  I’ll give it credit for being slightly smarter than most.

h/t to Raising Kaine, where the irony of pushing this line almost doubles over on itself

    Thank you…

I noticed that post and tried advocating an understanding of strategy–actual strategy, the acquisition and use of resources in time and space–and all they want to do is respond, respond, respond….

Yeah, there isn’t a whole of of room or respect for strategy when you’re beating your chest. I’ve noticed a particular inability over there to think beyond the here and now. Not doing anyone any favors, with that.

The PS about bare knuckle boxing and superior genetic predisposition towards knuckle-dragging…I didn’t see that before. God I can’t believe I entertained this for an entire day now–it’s not even about politics by the end, it has such a masturbatory undertone to it that I don’t want to go back without an umbrella and a rain slicker, just in case.
