I can’t figure out whether the bigger threat to American society is the faux-security presumption against public photography or simply the feeble-minded sense of authority by middle management figures like Robert H. Mangiante, Assistant Director at IPC International Corporation and guardian of DC’s Union Station against unapproved pictures.
gathering dust
I think there’s something almost wishful about these incidents and how little outrage they provoke. It’s like people are wishing to have their freedom restricted. Thanks for continuing the outing of Robert H. Mangiante, Assistant Director, IPC International Corporation. Let’s hope the intertubes keep alive his name as prime example of useless idiot representing excessive authority limiting the public’s access to the space it paid for.
I can only hope that the next incident of corporate hooliganism gets the You Tube treatment.

Well, if we’re to be a nation of sheep, I’m not going to help herd them.

I think this kind of thing needs wider publicity, like contacting the non-profit who hired the managers.
Mr. Mangiante absolutely answers to someone, and this is horrible publicity.

Oh, by the way, no rabid sheep allowed!

I’d take rabid sheep over sheep.
