1. Without a shred of research that showed allowing openly serving homosexuals, would IMPROVE war-fighting, all but one Democratic Senator voted in favor of imposing this social experiment on our military.
2. Our Democratic Senators don’t recognize that by demonstrating how out of touch with the People they are, like with this stupid, DADT repeal effort, they FURTHER alienate our Democratic Party from the average working Man.
All this time wasted on the homosexuals in the military idea, when Americans are out of work, out of money and many are out of hope.
That’s no way to act. This DADT issue was DOA anyway, and for our Democratic leaders to try to slip this in during the lame duck, instead of dealing with the economy, will hurt Democrats all the way down to the local town council.
Next time the issue is raised, perhaps some folks will present some compelling research, instead of that Gate’s survey fiasco.
If the focus was on war-fighting improvements, and they could show how repeal would contribute to improved battlefield performance, then you would likely have plenty of support from both parties.
Until then, our Democrats had better get re-focused on the economy, and fast!

Two things about this are amazing:

2. Our Democratic Senators don’t recognize that by demonstrating how out of touch with the People they are, like with this stupid, DADT repeal effort, they FURTHER alienate our Democratic Party from the average working Man.
